Virgin Media news

Virgin Media has taken to Twitter to advertise its remote recording service, which is available to TiVo subscribers.

In a tweet on the micro-blogging website, the broadband provider explained that viewers can set programmes to record even when they are away from home.

The message linked to a video offering more information on the service - which is designed to improve the TiVo user experience.

Virgin Media TV customers are required to log into their online account - using a mobile or fixed broadband connection - and then scroll the television guide.

They simply need to select a programme, and then confirm the recording.

"No rush now, it will be waiting for you when you get home - promise," Virgin Media stated.

Concluding the video clip, the broadband provider boldly claimed that its TiVo service "is the best way to watch TV, ever".
