Sky is giving UK households the opportunity to sign up for six months' free unlimited broadband and calls.

The provider is offering a £10 per month discount on its Unlimited Broadband and Calls package, allowing subscribers to save a total of £60 during the introductory period.

Subscribers are able to download at a rate of up to 20Mb, with a typical speed of 14Mb.

They can also download as much data as they like over the course of the month, courtesy of an unlimited usage allowance.

Calls to UK landlines at weekends are included as part of the package, while customers also receive a free Sky Hub wireless broadband router.

This enables consumers to get online anywhere in the home from a range of connected devices.

The broadband deal is priced at £10 per month plus line rental of £14.50 per month.

Last week, Sky launched a new deal offering three months' half-price super-fast broadband and calls.

Consumers are now able to sign up for the broadband package for an initial price of £10 per month.

The fibre broadband package offers download speeds of up to 38Mb, with an unlimited monthly usage allowance.

Sky said this is "ideal for busy homes with very heavy internet demands".

New customers also receive inclusive weekend calls to UK landlines, which can be upgraded to anytime calls for another £5 per month.
