TalkTalk news

TalkTalk is giving UK households the chance to enjoy half-price broadband for a whole year.

Consumers can sign up for unlimited broadband and calls for just £3.25 per month plus line rental for 12 months - the minimum duration of their contract.

TalkTalk Essentials is ordinarily priced at £6.50 per month plus line rental.

The broadband deal offers download speeds of up to 14Mb, an unlimited monthly usage allowance, and evening and weekend calls to UK landlines.

Subscribers also receive a free wireless broadband router, allowing them to get online anywhere in the home.

As an added bonus, TalkTalk is also offering a free connection worth £30, and a £25 Love2shop voucher for customers joining over the internet.

The gift certificate can be used in 20,000 UK high street stores, including the likes of Argos and Debenhams.

If up to 14Mb download speeds are not fast enough, TalkTalk is also running deals on fibre broadband at present.

The firm is currently offering its Fibre Medium package - offering super-fast download speeds of up to 38Mb - for just £13.25 per month plus line rental.

This means subscribers are able to save £3.25 per month on fibre broadband for a whole year, before the price reverts to £16 per month plus line rental.

The 18-month deal includes unlimited downloads, a free connection worth £30 and a free Wi-Fi router.
