TalkTalk is giving UK households the chance to save £5.50 per month on TV, broadband and calls when signing up for its Plus TV package.

For a limited time only, the service provider is offering a six-month introductory discount on its higher-tier internet, calls and television bundle.

As part of TalkTalk's Spring Promotion for 2014, Plus TV subscribers can pay just £10 per month plus line rental for the first six months of their 18-month contract.

This rises to £15.50 per month plus line rental after the six-month discount period ends.

TalkTalk is also offering a three-month subscription to PictureBox Films to new Plus TV customers, allowing them to choose from an extensive catalogue of on-demand films.

Viewers can watch movies through their YouView set-top box, with up to seven new titles added every week. Ordinarily, a PictureBox Films subscription costs £4.99 per month.

Plus TV customers receive their YouView set-top box - worth £299 - for free as part of their TalkTalk broadband bundle.

The digital TV recorder allows viewers to pause, rewind and record live programmes, enjoy seven-day catch-up services and access on-demand and premium content.

In addition to TalkTalk TV access, the firm's Plus TV package includes up to 16Mb broadband services with unlimited data and a free connection.

Anytime calls to UK landlines are also included, with consumers having the option of upgrading their home phone service with a number of bolt-ons.

The 100 Mobile Minutes Boost costs £3 per month, the 500 Global Minutes Boost is available for £5 per month and the 1000 Mobile Minutes Boost is priced at £5 per month.

TalkTalk is offering £5.50 per month off its Plus TV broadband package until Wednesday May 21st, meaning consumers have plenty of time to take advantage of the deal.
