Plusnet news

Home broadband provider Plusnet is continuing to expand, adding new members to its workforce.

The Sheffield-headquartered firm recently recruited its 1,000th employee, having doubled the size of its team since 2011.

Over the last 12 months alone, Plusnet has taken on another 150 staff members - helping to provide extra capacity to support organisational growth.

Back in October 2013, the broadband provider opened a second office in Leeds, with room for up to 250 employees.

Some 850 workers are already employed at Plusnet's main Sheffield base.

Writing for the company blog, Chris Parr said the staff at Plusnet "have always been the key to its success".

He claimed the firm's employees have helped Plusnet win awards over the years.

"To continue to do this we need to carry on expanding the Plusnet family," Mr Parr stated.
