Plusnet news

Consumers can now get their hands on Plusnet broadband and landline services for the knockdown price of £1.49 per month.

For a limited time only, the service provider is offering a significant discount on Plusnet Unlimited Broadband and Weekend Calls, which offers up to 16Mb download speeds without a usage cap.

Subscribers receive a free four-port 'N' wireless router - allowing them to get online via various web-enabled devices anywhere in the home - and are entitled to a free activation worth £25.

Weekend calls to UK landlines are included as part of the broadband deal, with subscribers able to phone other Plusnet customers for free throughout the week.

Plusnet Unlimited Broadband and Weekend Calls is available at the discounted rate of £1.49 per month plus line rental for 12 months.

Following the expiry of the introductory discount period, the price reverts to £9.99 per month plus line rental.

Plusnet is also giving consumers the chance to save money on its Unlimited Broadband and Anytime Calls, which is now available for £6.49 per month plus line rental for 12 months.

The package offers the same broadband features, including up to 16Mb download speeds, unrestricted data, a free wireless router and a free activation.

However, it allows subscribers to make landline calls throughout the week, rather than simply at weekends.

After 12 months, the price of the broadband deal reverts to £14.99 per month plus line rental.

Plusnet is running the broadband deals until September 2nd, meaning consumers still have two weeks to take advantage of the £1.49 per month and £6.49 per month offers.
