These include insurance products, car finance, mortgages, and personal loans as well as credit cards. Ocean is a trading name of Intelligent Finance Limited, with a base in Tamworth, Staffordshire. They are also an appointed representative of Think Loans and Mortgages Limited. Both companies are registered by the Financial Conduct Authority.

As of 2014, they had more than a quarter of a million customers.

Ocean Finance has been in existence since 1991, and they aim to be a one-stop-shop for UK financial products.

The company provides service and advice online and via the telephone, and their website includes a credit check facility, so potential customers can see what lending facility may be best for them without having to make an application which could impact on their credit score. Ocean specialise in providing credit to people who may otherwise not have been able to obtain it without going to a payday loan company.
