Homechoice broadband

Homechoice is more than a broadband provider. Since 1999, Homechoice has been offering its customers a wide range of services – broadband internet, digital TV channels and on-demand TV, and discount telephone calls – and all it uses to connect you is your existing BT line and a Homechoice box, thus there is no satellite dish.

Homechoice is available across London, and the company is aiming to begin national roll out in 2006. To find out whether Homechoice provides broadband services in your area, use the uSwitch.com broadband comparison service.

What do I need to connect to Homechoice broadband?

You will need:

  • PC user: Windows ME (Millennium Edition), Windows 2000 or Windows XP. At least a Pentium 266MHz processor or equivalent
  • Mac user: Power PC or above. Operating systems OS 9-OS 10.3 (OS X)
  • At least 64MB system memory (RAM)
  • A free Ethernet port to connect to the Homechoice set-top box (an optional RJ45 to USB connector is available)

How can I compare Homechoice with other UK broadband providers?

Enter your postcode into the uSwitch broadband comparison service to find out which broadband packages are available to you. The service will return a list of providers and the deals they offer. You can sort that list by whichever criteria is important to you, whether that is cost, customer support, speed or service restrictions. uSwitch is comprehensive, impartial and simple to use.
