Mint credit cards |
Mint is the (relatively) new brand name for the RBS Advanta card. The Mint brand is owned and run by the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, one of Europe’s leading financial services groups. In recent years, the RBS Group has expanded to incorporate NatWest, Churchill, and Lombard Direct. Since the launch of its credit cards, Mint has also started offering a Mint personal loan.
There are four different credit cards on offer, all with a competitive APR for balance transfers and beyond. A 24-hour customer service line, and offers on wine, travel and magazines complete the package. You will also receive free protection against Internet fraud and free travel accident insurance. Payment protection insurance is also available but is not offered free.
Not much, really. If you are thinking of applying for a Mint credit card, you should shop around first even if it looks like a great deal. You may find a range of benefits with other cards that are not offered by the Mint credit card.
