Telecom plus PLC (also known as The Utility Warehouse) sold its energy subsidiaries Gas Plus Supply Ltd and Electricity Plus Supply Ltd to npower in 2006. Telecom Plus manage all aspects of the energy customer relationship for these companies on behalf of npower including billing, customer service and metering.

As well as offering gas and electricity supplies, the company also offer home phone, mobile phone and Internet services under the umbrella of a discount club. Customers receive a single, integrated bill and discounts for each service they take. There is also a single customer service centre to handle enquiries.

Telecom Plus prices

In May 2006 Telecom Plus raised its gas prices by 7.4% and electricity prices by 9.7%.
