Swiftcall launched in 1993 and following the privatisation of the home phone market in 1984, was one of the first rivals to BT. Since 1998 Swiftcall has been part of KDDI, one of the biggest telecoms companies in the world.

With Swiftcall you can view and pay your fully itemised bills online. You can also view your account history and look at bills from the past 12 months.

How do I connect to Swiftcall home phone tariffs?

You can connect to Swiftcall by using a prefix number. A prefix number is often a 4-digit code which you have to dial before making the call. This then redirects your calls through Swiftcall. If you have a cable line or live in the Hull area, you need to dial an 0800 freephone number instead.

BT or your cable company will still own, run and send you bills for your line rental, however you will get a separate bill for the calls from Swiftcall. You need to dial the prefix number each time you want to save on the cost of a call or you’ll end up paying your main supplier for the call.
