Uswitch.com, the independent price comparison and switching service, has won the ‘Telecoms and Technology’ category for its innovative work in helping customers find the best deals for their home services at this year’s Performance Marketing Awards for the sixth year.
Held at Grosvenor House Hotel in London, Uswitch fought off stiff competition from a number of well-known brands. The judges were wowed by the work of the uSwitch telecoms team which helped a large number of customers switch their mobile and broadband in 2013. By championing the use of price comparison to find the best deal, the team drove considerable growth year-on-year.
“I’m very proud of the innovative work we delivered and implemented in the last year. It generated significant revenue growth and cemented the strong relationships we have with our partners,” Uswitch CEO Steve Weller said. “Once again uSwitch demonstrated that it is the clear leader in both mobile and broadband comparison, influencing switchers all over the UK.”
Inaugurated in 2007, the Performance Marketing Awards celebrates excellence and innovation in the performance marketing sector in the UK. The 2014 awards were held in a glitzy ceremony hosted by comedian Hal Cruttenden to a room of over 900 marketers.
