Mobile phones & free Nintendo 3DS
With 3D games in the palm of your hand and cutting-edge titles, Nintendo’s excellent 3DS is what real gamers have been waiting for. Mobile phones and free Nintendo 3DS deals let you get your hands on the hottest thing in gaming and a cool new phone for a great price.
What is a Nintendo 3DS?
The massively powerful Nintendo 3DS is the world’s first 3D handheld console. Using special stereoscopic technology, games are given a sense of space and depth that quite literally brings a new dimension to gaming.
This means you’ll be able to judge distances more accurately than ever and makes for an incredibly immersive gaming experience. And the really great thing is that you won’t need to wear special lenses to get the 3D effect. The Nintendo 3DS is completely glasses-free!
You can also turn off the 3D effect and play in standard 2D. And as you’d expect from a modern console, the 3DS is home to a touch-sensitive screen to allow you to control what’s happening onscreen with a stylus. Or if you prefer, you can use traditional physical controls.
Which games are there?
The Nintendo 3DS range offers something for everyone, taking in casual fun titles, as well as sports games and more challenging and immersive games. Naturally, the line-up also includes new versions of classic Nintendo staples such Mario Kart, Nintendogs+Cats, Professor Layton, Kid Icarus and Legend of Zelda.
What else does the 3DS offer?
The Nintendo 3DS is packed with great features. Here we’ll outline just a few of them:
- Backwards compatibility. Got a Nintendo DS or DSi? Good news: the 3DS is backwards compatible. That means that you’ll be able to play almost all your library of games on your 3DS.
- Online gaming. Wi-Fi support allows you play games online, while Bluetooth connectivity means you can challenge fellow gamers even when you’re not in range of a broadband connection.
- Web browser. With the pre-installed Nintendo 3DS Internet Browser, you can surf the web and check your mail wherever there’s a Wi-Fi connection.
- Personalisation. Just as you could with the Wii, the 3DS lets you set up a cartoony avatar called a Mii.
- 3D camera. The two built-in cameras on the 3DS enable you to take 3D snaps to add a dash of fun to your photos. There’s also a whole set of photo effects to play with.
- Expandable memory. Every 3DS comes with a free 2GB SD memory card, which you can use to store games downloaded from the Nintendo eShop. Need more memory? Not a problem. You can just add a larger microSD card.
- 3D Videos. Although this feature isn’t available from launch, the 3DS will have the capability to show videos in 3D too.
Why choose a Nintendo 3DS and free phone deal?
The great thing about Nintendo 3DS and free phone deals is that they enable you to spread the cost of your handset over a number of months. That means you can get your hands on the best that handheld gaming has to offer without having to find a large lump sum and pay for the console outright.
Shop around and you should also be able to find a deal that gets you a great phone too. Some of top handsets on offer include great Android phones from HTC, as well messaging focussed phones from BlackBerry and Nokia and Samsung models too.
