BlackBerry 8820 details
The BlackBerry 8820 is a hugely powerful multi-media communications device that packs an entire PC into a package that’s little bigger than a standard handset.
BlackBerry handsets have fast become some of the most desirable phones around, and with advanced e-mail functions, a document viewer and fast web browsing it’s not hard to see why.
Chief among the handset’s many attractions is push e-mail, which supports almost all types of business and personal e-mail servers, and a Qwerty keyboard and trackball to make drafting electronic correspondence a breeze. There is also a great internet browser for surfing the web while on the move.
The phone includes password protection and keyboard lock as well as encryption for when the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is being used to access data – thus ensuring that vital business or personal information is protected from security breaches.
Entertainment has not been neglected, with a media player included so that you can listen to music or watch a video. And the Bluetooth connectivity of the phone means that you can opt for a wireless headset or standard earphones.
Other functions of the BlackBerry 8820 include MMS and text messaging, a document viewer for e-mails, speakerphone, voice dialling, MP3 ringtones, GPS with BlackBerry Maps and personal organiser functions.
