BlackBerry Curve 8310 details

The BlackBerry Curve 8310 is the lightest and smallest BlackBerry smartphone ever to come with a full Qwerty keyboard, but still manages to pack in enough incredible features to make other high-end devices look one-dimensional.

Clean lines, soft edges and a shiny metallic finish make the BlackBerry Curve 8310 a stylish and tactile smartphone that positively bristles with the highest of high-end functions.

Equipped with a full Qwerty keyboard and spellchecker to make composing e-mails and texts as easy as it is on a PC, the phone also features a trackball navigation system for an incredibly intuitive experience and easy navigation of the phone’s rich array of functions.

The phone additionally employs BlackBerry’s much-vaunted push e-mail system, so that you can receive correspondence directly to your handset and harness the advanced e-mail functions of Outlook. These include a document viewer for studying documents created in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

A web browser is installed for quick and easy exploration of the internet, while entertainment comes in the form of the media player so you can watch videos and enjoy music on your travels.

Other functions of the BlackBerry Curve 8310 include a GPS system, which can be used for route planning with BlackBerry Maps, instant messaging, MMS picture messaging and a two megapixel camera with flash and digital zoom.

More on the BlackBerry Curve 8310

Like the Pearl series of phones from BlackBerry, the Curve range of handsets have seen manufacturer Research in Motion augment the appeal of their business-focused phones by adding features to entice regular mobile phone users.

Consequently, while some other BlackBerry phones stand out for their functional bulkiness, the BlackBerry Curve 8310 boats a stunning, ergonomic design. This means it’s easily a match for fashion phones in the looks department.

Meanwhile, a great camera has also been installed, which at two megapixels is well in advance of the basic cameras from earlier BlackBerry phones. And to keep casual mobile phone users entertained, a full suite of multi-media features is onboard, including a media player that supports playlists and shuffle.
