BlackBerry Curve 8310 Pink details
A fun pink shell meets serious power and full-on functionality in the BlackBerry Curve 8310 Pink – the lightest of the firm’s high-end, multi-media phones to feature a full Qwerty keyboard.
Chief among the phone’s many stand-out functions is a full Qwerty keyboard to make composing important e-mails immeasurably easier and faster than it is with a standard phone pad. There is also a useful spellchecker to keep your e-mail correspondence looking professional and an attachment viewer for studying documents created in the key Microsoft Office applications Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Surfing the internet with the phone is quick and easy with the built-in browser, while the intuitive track ball navigation system makes locating and accessing functions a breeze.
A GPS system which can be used for route planning with BlackBerry Maps is also included to help you find your destination with the minimum of delay and cut journey times in even the most unfamiliar of cities.
Other functions of the BlackBerry Curve 8310 Pink include instant messaging, a media player for watching videos and enjoying music on the move, voice dialling, MMS picture messaging and a two megapixel camera with flash and digital zoom for capturing fun snaps and videos.
More on the BlackBerry Curve 8310 Pink
The BlackBerry Curve 8310 is part of manufacturers' Research in Motion's Curve range, which is intended to bridge the divide between business users who buy BlackBerry phones for their advanced e-mail functions and consumers who want a handset that will keep them entertained.
Consequently, while the BlackBerry Curve 8310 Pink delivers a mobile e-mail experience easily on a par with a PC, it is also laden with fun features such as a media player, which supports playlists and a shuffle mode, and a two megapixel camera.
BlackBerry phones have been the toast of technology sites and mobile phone enthusiasts for some time now and the BlackBerry Curve 8310 Pink was no exception. In particular, testers praised the BlackBerry Curve 8310 Pink’s easy to use keyboard and trackball and impressive screen and sat-nav capability.
