BlackBerry Curve 8520 details

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is less a mobile phone and more of an all-round next-generation communications device. And it’s got on-the-go entertainment covered and plenty of onboard memory, too.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is an outstanding choice of mobile phone if you’re the kind of person who absolutely, positively must be within reach of friends, colleagues and family at all times.

E-mail access is a breeze thanks to the handy push system that sends messages direct to the handset and there’s support for all major email providers. Meanwhile, the brilliant full Qwerty keyboard makes entering large amounts of text a breeze. And there are a host of other communication options, too, including SMS, MMS and instant messaging.

Entertainment comes in the form of a super media player, so you’ll be able to view videos and listen to all your favourite music wherever you are. And thanks to dedicated buttons – a first for a BlackBerry mobile phone – it’s easy to play, rewind and locate the content you’re looking for.

Other functions of the BlackBerry Curve 8520 include a massive 16GB of memory when a microSD card is used, two megapixel camera with zoom and video recording, access to BlackBerry App World and a 3.5mm headphone jack to allow you to use the very best stereo headsets.

More on the BlackBerry Curve 8520

Like all BlackBerry mobile phones, the Curve 8520 is an amazing emailing device, with push email support and a full QWERTY keyboard making it a brilliant choice for anyone who works remotely or just heavy emailers. But it’s also got so much more to recommend it.

As well as the features listed above, the BlackBerry Curve 8520 also offers downloadable polyphonic and MP3 ringtones, photocalling via a secondary camera, voice dialing, vibration alert, an organiser and wallpapers.

Users of this outstanding mobile can expect talk time of four and a half hours and battery life of up to 408 hours when the phone is in standby mode. The handset is quad band, so can be used with mobile phone networks all over the globe.

This phone is epic, I can use it all the time and everywhere sometimes I have problems with my screen though, I turn it on and everything is blue and red and I don't think that is supposed to happen. Is there something wrong with my Blackberry? What should I do?

My BlackBerry Messenger does not work but on the plus side everything else is fantastic. Has anyone got any solutions to my BlackBerry Messenger problem? When I click on the icon it comes up with pending contact and my friends say theirs is working perfectly fine.

Nice little gadget, although not keen on the trackpad, finding it quite difficult to get used to - but much nicer looking phone than my last Blackberry, and works a lot smoother too - you can also use your own headphones for music, which is a bonus!

Now that I have a Blackberry (and access to my emails 24/7) I could never go back to a normal phone! It's so easy to use and looks really nice too
