The BlackBerry Curve 8520 teams a crisp white shell with next-generation communication capabilities, packing in push email and a QWERTY keyboard. And, with the great media player means it’s got entertainment covered, too.
As with all BlackBerry mobile phones, the Curve 8520 is optimised for emailing. Thanks to its push email facility, you’ll get messages sent directly to your phone rather than having to pull them down from a server. Meanwhile, the QWERTY keyboard is fantastic for composing lengthy messages and emails quickly.
But it this makes the Curve 8520 sound like an entirely business-focused phone, think again. It’s great for keeping you amused, too. The media player offers brilliant sound and picture quality and is just the ticket for breaking up long journeys. Plus, for the first time ever on a BlackBerry phone, there are also dedicated stereo buttons so you can access your favourite tunes in a trice.
Other functions of the BlackBerry Curve 8520 include a two megapixel camera with zoom and video recording, a secondary camera for video calling, an organiser, access to BlackBerry App World and a 3.5mm headphone jack to allow you to use the very best stereo headsets.
To ensure you can make the most of all the phone’s functions, the 8520 offers expandable memory up to 16GB through microSD card support. Buyers can expect talk time of up to four and a half hours.
