BlackBerry Pearl 8110 details
At just 89g, The BlackBerry Pearl 8110’s small dimensions belie a handset that is long on functionality and is crammed with heavyweight applications.
Developed to offer smartphone functionality without the heavier handset that this usually entails, the BlackPerry Pearl 8110 is a triumph of ingenuity and compact design.
Composing e-mails is a breeze with the Qwerty keyboard installed on the handset, which also offers advanced e-mail functions such as an attachment viewer so you can view PowerPoint, Word and Excel documents. And thanks to the push e-mail facility you receive your correspondence in real time direct to your handset with notification when new messages arrive.
The phone also houses a GPS system which works in conjunction with BlackBerry Maps application to give you Sat Nav in your handset and dramatically cut journey times with turn by turn directions. Additionally there is an advanced web browser, so that you can surf the internet and view pages as if you were looking at them at home.
Other functions of the BlackBerry Pearl 8110 include a 1.3 megapixel camera for taking fun snaps, voice activated dialling, a speakerphone, Bluetooth connectivity, MMS messaging, text messaging and personal organiser functions.
Talk time is 3.5 hours or 360 hours when the phone is placed in standby mode.
