Google Nexus S details
The brilliant Nexus S is an Android tour de force. And is many people's choice of the best handset so far to run the OS. That's with good reason. With its glorious four inch screen, this mobile makes playing games and viewing media on a handset a real pleasure, far removed from the cramped experience some smartphones offer.
And its supremely powerful and fast too, helped in no small part by the fact that it packs a 1GHz processor and the latest, slickest 2.3 version of the Android operating system - sometimes known as Gingerbread. That means you'll be able to multi-task with consummate ease and really, really start to make the most of your time.
And when it comes to imaging capabilities, the Nexus S excels in this department too. The rear mounted eight megapixel camera with flash takes great snaps every time and records video in rich HD. Plus, there's a secondary camera at the front too, so you can make and take video calls and add a brand new dimension to mobile communications.
Other features of the Nexus S include a media player, a fantastic multi-touch touchscreen keyboard for speedy messaging, 16GB of memory so you'll have plenty of room for all your favourite music and videos. And ample space for apps too, allowing you to fill your boots with all the great games and practical apps on offer at Google's Android Market.
Google has also equipped the phone with some great pre-installed apps, including YouTube, FaceBook and Google Maps, with owners of the phone first in line to get new features as and when they arrive via updates.
More on the Google Nexus S
Google's Nexus S is an Android powerhouse. But perhaps its biggest selling point is that because this is Google's own phone, you'll get software updates before anyone else.
That means you'll get all the latest features that Google creates for its handsets just as soon as they're available. Better still, you're effectively getting a brand new phone each time!
