HTC Hero Brown details

The touchscreen HTC Hero Brown is one of the best Android mobile phones yet. Packing in a five megapixel camera, built-in Google applications and a massive 3.2-inch display, it’s one a truly next generation handset.

HTC has quickly built up a reputation for building fantastic phones that use Google’s Android platform. And in the shape of the award-winning HTC Hero, it’s not hard to see why.

Among is its standout features is a five megapixel camera with autofocus that takes a superb snap every time. And it’s equally adept at capturing video footage and records at an impressive 15 frames per second.

As with all Android mobiles, the HTC Hero also allows you to download applications from Google’s Android market. Here you’ll find a massive range of software, taking in everything from fun games to practical apps to make your life easier. And to get you started, the handset comes with all key Google apps, such as YouTube and Facebook, preinstalled.

Meanwhile, to keep you entertained HTC has provided a great media player, so you’ll be able to enjoy all your favourite music and movies while you’re on the go. And thanks to HSDPA support, you can download new content almost as quickly as you can at home on your PC.

Other functions of the HTC Hero Pink include HSDPA support for a smooth, efficient web browsing experience and fast downloads at up to 7.2Mb, a brilliant five megapixel camera with auto-focus and an impressively large 3.2-inch TFT-LCD touch-sensitive screen with 320x480 HVGA resolution.

The HTC Hero is awesome - more like a mini-computer than a phone. The google maps feature has saved my skin a few times already when I get lost!

I have my HTC hero just over a month and have to rebuild it twice remove apps and it still runs like a dog with only two legs. I compared it wy my nephews HTC Magic and it makes mine look like a Sinclair Spectrum PC (for those that are old). It also have the nice feature of force apps to close on a regular basis.
