HTC P6500 details
HTC’s P6500 handset runs on Windows Mobile 6 Professional to allow for greater scope for programming, while Fort Knox-style security and a barcode scanner place it at the bleeding edge of mobile technology.
Known for their cutting-edge business solutions, HTC’s P6500 is a state of the art handset with enhanced security, seamless communications and plenty of memory for storage.
Among the innovations on the HTC P6500 are barcode recognition software and a useful facility for scanning information from business cards to the phone’s contact book simply through taking a picture.
Running on Windows Mobile 6 Professional, which makes it ideal for programming and developing business specific applications, the handset also supports internet browsing and email, while the 128MB internal memory means there is plenty of space to store data, pictures and documents. This can be boosted further by up to 1GB through two external SD card slots.
The three megapixel camera is equipped with autofocus and flash, while the fingerprint sensor prevents unauthorised use of the handset and the facility to remotely wipe the contents of the phone ensures that confidential information remains inaccessible should the device ever be lost or stolen.
A large screen makes the HTC P6500 easy and practical to use, with talk time standing at around five hours and standby time of eight days.
