HTC HD2 details
The HTC HD2, formerly known as the Leo, is an enormously powerful, entertainment-focused smartphone with massive processing power, a vast 4.3-inch touchscreen and a five megapixel camera.
The HTC HD2 could well be the best handset for on the go entertainment ever made. Thanks to its industry-leading 4.3-inch, pixel-packed display and rich high definition images, viewing movies and videos with its brilliant media player is almost as good as going to the cinema.
But a world class mobile entertainment experience isn’t all this great handset has to offer. Far from it. Underneath its sleek black exterior, you’ll also find a superb five megapixel camera which delivers brilliant quality photos and video footage every time. And to ensure you get the best images possible, it’s also equipped with autofocus and an LED flash.
Social networking is another HD2 strong point, with full integration of Facebook and Twitter making it a breeze to keep up to date with your friends and family. Meanwhile, if you need to take care of important business, you’re also catered for with the built-in suite of Pocket Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Perhaps best of all, though, is that you’ll be able to use all the HD2’s features simultaneously with minimal lag. This is thanks to the massively powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset installed.
Other features of the HTC HD2 include a digital compass, expandable memory, geo-tagging of photos, 3.55mm headphone jack, email, instant messaging, accelerometer for auto-rotate and a choice of fun built-in games.
More on the HTC HD2
As well as all the brilliant features above the HTC HD2 is also equipped with an ambient light sensor, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support. There’s also practically unlimited space for contacts, making it a great option for anyone who wants a phone that handles business as well as it does leisure.
A national newspaper review of the HTC HD2 dubbed it the best Windows Mobile 6.5 handset yet. Those positive sentiments were also endorsed by tech sites, including Slashgear.com, which praised the handset’s ability to run multiple applications simultaneously and its bold looks.
