LG Arena KM900 8GB details
Simplicity and style come together to make the LG Arena one of the most popular phones on the market. This stunning multi-media handset features a 5Mp camera, 8Gb of internal memory and 3G connectivity making communication easier than ever.
The LG KM900 Arena 8GB is a stunning multi-media handset with a super-fast user interface and some of the most advanced imaging capabilities we’ve ever seen. And its metallic housing means that it's robust too.
LG’s KM900 Arena employs a user interface in the form of a playful 3-D cube onscreen that can be revolved to allow you to access four different screens with consummate ease. This makes getting to your contacts, widgets, shortcuts and customisable home screen as easy as 1-2-3.
And you’ll certainly want to be accessing the phone’s five megapixel camera regularly. Not only does this offer DVD quality recording but Divx playback, too, so that watching video clips you have recorded is a rare joy. And if 3G video calling is what you’re after, you’ll be happy to know that a secondary camera is included for just this purpose.
Owners also benefit from a great web browser with HSDPA connectivity, meaning that you download content such as movies and 3-D Java games in a trice. Meanwhile, the 8GB of internal memory means there is plenty of room, with scope to boost this up to 16GB by adding a microSD card.
Other features include an innovative built-in GPS, Wi-Fi support, a built-in music player with Dolby sound and a host of messaging options including MMS, e-mail and SMS with predictive text.
The LG KM900 Arena is tri-band so can be used in a range of countries across the globe.
More on the LG Arena KM900 8GB
In an increasinly crowded mobile phone market, the LG KM900 Arena stands out principally for its innovative approach to usability and the ease with which owners can find their way around the amazing array of functions it offers.
As the first handset from LG to incorporate its amazing new 3D S-Class user interface, the LG KM900 allows owners to drag their finger around the screen and scroll through menus. The system is based around a cube layout and includes four home screens, which can be customised with shortcuts to make finding your way around the phone as easy as possible.
Upon its release, reviewers favourably compared the LG KM900 Arena to rival handsets such as the iPhone. As well as the user interface, the handset garnered glowing praise for the listening experience that its media player offered - thanks largely to the incorporation of Dolby Mobile surround sound in the device.
This has helped the LG KM900 Arena to become a huge hit with music fans who appreciate its massive storage capacity and many of whom have been using the handset as a replacement for a dedicated personal stereo.
