LG Cookie KP500 Pink details

The LG KP500 Cookie Pink is wafer-thin and with its pink exterior looks as sweet as shortbread. But with its handwriting recognition function and natty screen, there’s plenty of substance here to gorge on.

Operating the lightweight LG KP500 Cookie Pink is a pleasurable and highly intuitive experience thanks to its touchscreen user interface. Meanwhile, inputting text is rendered a breeze thanks to its handwriting recognition function and full Qwerty keyboard.

The three megapixel camera installed is superb, and boasts an auto-rotate feature so you can capture both landscape and portrait images. These can then be mailed to friends with MMS enabled handsets.

To keep you entertained the LG KP500 Cookie Pink has built-in games with fun Wii-style motion sensitive controls, an FM radio and a media player. And the 48MB of internal memory and microSD card slot means that there is ample room for file storage of all the videos and music you download.

Other features of the LG KP500 include RDS technology so you can find out the name of songs on the radio or in cafes, personal organiser functions, hands-free polyphonic ringtones and a ringtone composer for making up your own and a 1000-entry phone book.

Battery life is up to 350 hours on standby and up to three and a half hours talk time.

More on the LG Cookie KP500 Pink

Despite being just 89g in weight and measuring just 11.99mm thick, the LG KP500 Cookie Pink nonetheless manages to pack in an impressively large 3-inch wide screen as well as all the functions you could reasonably want from a handset.

The LG KP500 Cookie Pink is one of many touchscreen phones from LG, such as the huge-selling LG Arena, which have helped the company go from a relative outsider in the mobile phone market to one of its key players in a matter of years.

In independent tests of the LG KP500 Cookie Pink, reviewers singled out for its praise the handset’s superior quality sound, excellent document viewer for e-mails and incorporation of a handset-recognition function to make entering large amounts of text easier.

For the price I paid, this is probably the best phone I have ever owned. The software can be a bit glitchy with Windows Vista but apart from that - I love it!

This phone is absolutely brilliant! It took me one day to get used to its touchscreen. The battery life lasts for around 5 to 7 days, depending on how often you listen to music, use the camera etc.

I bought this phone as a cheap i-phone alternative and that's exactly what it is! It doesn't have so many features but it does the job!
