Motorola Razr details
At just 7.1mm, the impossibly thin Motorola Razr is the slimmest smartphone so far. But this super-sharp and robust phone has still got room for a 4.3" Super AMOLED screen, an eight megapixel camera and a mighty processor. And because it's powered by Android, it's peerless for apps too.
In the early 2000's, Motorola Razr flip phones were some of the best-loved, biggest selling handsets around. This excellent new effort runs an up to the minute version of the Android operating system and a host of cutting-edge features to breathe fresh life into the range.
Nowhere is that more evident than in the Razr's imaging capabilities. Thanks to the amazing on board eight megapixel snapper, it's more than a match for any camera phone out there. And it records in rich 1080p HD to give your mini movies the look and feel of a Hollywood blockbuster when you watch them back on the vast, super high density 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display.
To keep things ticking over super smoothly, there's also a mighty 1.2GHz dual core processor so you can get to all your favourite features and apps in a trice. And when you see some of the pre-installed applications, believe us you'll want to.
Take the amazing Motocast, for instance, which allows you to effortlessly stream music and movies from your PC and access your favourites wherever you are. Better still, because it uses cloud storage technology, you'll have more room for the stuff you really, really need to store on your handset.
Just as impressive is the Smart Actions app. This allows you to program your phone so that it behaves the way you want it and gives you control over your smartphone as never before. Better still it can boost your battery life by up to 30 per cent too.
Need a phone that's great for business too? The Razr has got you covered. As well as Android, this versatile handset features a secondary operating system called WebTop. Just plug in your phone to keyboard peripherals and it'll double as a brilliant netbook. Plus, it's got email down-pat too, with some of the best encryption and security protection around.
Like all Android phones, the Razr is amazing when it comes to apps. Just head to the Android Market and you'll be able to take your pick from tens of thousands of titles. Many of which are completely free to download!
Other features of the Razr include a super-tough construction with a Kevlar backplate, a secondary camera for video calls, microSD card support up to 32GB, document viewer and editor, built-in Google apps such as Gmail and YouTube and a digital compass, GPS and Google Maps for easy route-finding.
