More on the Nokia 6300

The Nokia 6300 is a handset that made cameo appearances in Cloverfield and Tropic Thunder. But with its affordable price tag and practical design, it’s fair to say that its appeal isn’t restricted to Hollywood stars.

As well as the functions detailed above the phone offers downloadable polyphonic and MP3 ringtones, vibration alert, call records and instant messaging. There is also a useful built-in hands-free so that you can take calls when you are behind the wheel.

Since its release in November 2006 Nokia 6300 has received great notices from a range of independent mobile phone sites, with reviewers reserving particular praise for its user-friendliness and excellent design.

Overall this mobile is perfect for me, I use it daily, but I do need to charge it every few days. Apart from the poor battery life it hasn't caused me many problems.

I have to say the camera isn't fantastic but you do get better pictures when you switch the night mode on.

I have used the 6300 for about 9 months & I think that it is a great basic phone. It's totally user friendly with the normal high Nokia quality.

There are a few negatives - the battery life is pretty poor, but you can't have everything!
