Nokia E71 Black details

Thanks to support for VOIP calls and outstanding e-mail functions, Nokia’s E71 Black is one of the greatest smartphones ever and is a worthy challenger indeed to RIM’s all-conquering BlackBerrys.

Nokia’s Eseries of mobile communication devices are noted for pushing the envelope for mobile communication devices, and the Nokia E71 Black is no exception. And with its ergonomic, crisp design its looks more than match its functionality.

Among its many stand-out features are a great push e-mail system that is supremely easy to use and set up. Owners also benefit from the opportunity to edit and view documents and attachments, including those created in key Microsoft Office packages such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Just as impressive is the Nokia E71 Black's ability to make VOIP calls, which can cut your call charges dramatically. Meanwhile, support for HSDPA and GPS allows you to download files as quickly and easily as you would at home.

Other functions of the Nokia E71 Black include data encryption and a remote lock for improved security, video calling, two screen modes, 3.2 megapixel camera, a high quality display as well as spelling correction and auto-completion for documents.

A special key to enable accelerated scrolling up and down the screen means that accessing the features is painless.

Talk time is up to 10.5 hours or up to 17 days when the device is on standby.

I've had my e71 for 3 months now and I can honestly say it's been superb.

Slim but solid, with a great screen.

Best of all, it integrates really nicely with gmail!

Very very slim, very fast processor, long battery-life(I get around 4-7 days on normal use),super smooth for web surfing, easy to see bright screen.

I have learned the hard way that the backside stains easily with fingertips but on the whole,I think it's worth the money.

I've always been tempted by the Blackberry, but have never strayed away from Nokia as their phones have always worked the best for me! This was the perfect solution, and it hasn't left my side since I bought it! The battery lasts for ages too!
