I would absolutely recomend the G1. A vast selection of FREE apps on the android market gives this phone the edge.

I got the G1 on a 12 month deal with T-Mobile in the UK. The phone system and the android operating system are great - android definitely has a future and I can see it coming out on multiple platforms. The handset looks beter in the hand than it does in any of the pictures or blogs and the white version does sem more sturdy and professional whereas the black is a bit too shiny! It's a shame about the lack of video - it really is a missed opportunity!

It does everything, its sooo easy to text, good call quality, loads of free apps and despite a few teething problems, the android system can and will only get better and better - awesome phone!

The homepage of this phone is great, and if you use google calendar then you'll love the fact that it all synchs up so smoothly - finally a phone that's all about the software!
