O2 Cocoon details

The O2 Cocoon is a wholly original looking handset that was designed to appear neither like a phone or a music player. The result is a handset that looks organic, with all its advanced technology hidden under a pure white shell.

Developed by O2’s Innovation Lab in conjunction with design agencies, the O2 Cocoon is the result of a brilliant experiment in phone design and functionality that has seen the creation of a truly stunning handset.

A fantastic music player is installed, with songs from The Doors, Ash and Paolo Nutini pre-loaded for you to enjoy and a second earphone plug so a friend can listen along with you. Additionally there is a great stereo FM radio, with the station, artist or title of the track that is playing scrolling across the exterior of the phone at the same time.

The phone also includes a two megapixel camera with flash, zoom and autofocus for taking great pictures and video footage every time. There is also a self-timer so that you can get in the photo too. And once you’re happy with your snap, you can share them with friends via MMS.

Other functions of the O2 Cocoon include Bluetooth connectivity, an alarm clock with the time displayed on its outer skin, an alarm that enables you to wake up to your favourite radio station, a selection of screensavers and wallpapers, an organiser, calculator and currency converter.
