Samsung Tocco F480 Brown details

The Samsung 480 Tocco Brown’s fully touch-operated user interface, huge LCD screen and slim card-size design marries gorgeous chocolate-coloured looks with futuristic functionality. And with a leading-edge five megapixel camera, it’s perfect for snap-happy users, too.

The Samsung 480 Tocco Brown’s sleek brushed aluminium casing and minimal design make this a phone unlikely to be beaten on looks-appeal. With a leather case, stylish mocha body with hairline texture and a card-style shape, which rests comfortably in the palm of your hand, the Samsung 480 Tocco Brown is incredibly chic.

It’s also got Samsung’s incredible Haptic technology which allows for intuitive and simple use of the touch screen. The amazing breakthrough though comes with the Samsung 480 Tocco Brown’s superb 5 Megapixel camera. The Auto Focus, Smile Shot (which made its world-wide debut on the Samsung 480 Tocco), Face Detection, Image Stabilization, Power LED and Quick View features make for crystal clear photos which you can edit and amend, ready to send out to your friends.

It sounds astonishing, too. With Bang & Olufsen’s superior ICEpower technology you’ll be the envy of your fellow travelers as the multi-format music player has an audio experience to rival any stand alone stereo. And the Samsung F480 Tocco Brown comes Music Library for organizing your favourite songs. Then there’s the FM radio with RDS for accessing your favourite channels and news reports on the move.

Other features include mighty internet connectivity with HSDPA (speeds as fast as 7.2Mbps), USB 2.0 Full Speed for fast data transfer, Bluetooth for hooking up with wireless devices (printers, stereos, computers, A2DP headsets), amazing video quality recording and the ability to use both vertical and horizontal menu views.

More on the Samsung Tocco F480 Brown

The Samsung 480 Tocco Brown is one of the North Korean’s company’s best selling mobile phones ever and easily emulated the success of its immediate predecessors the F490 Nerva and the Samsung Armani phone.

Reviews of the phone praised its slim (11.9mm) dimensions, impressively large 2.8-inch screen and generous onboard memory of 240MB. Also singled out by testers was the Samsung Tocco Brown’s fast downloads via HSDPA and advanced imaging functions. This prompted respected technology site to dub the Samsung F480 Tocco Brown “one of the slickest and most stylish touchscreen phones around”.

Easy to use, although at first texting can be tricky; it's quite easy to press the wrong button by mistake when you're not used to the touchscreen!

I've had this phone for about a month now, and although it had a few initial firmware issues (calls were dropping off a few seconds in) a simple update solved that - I now love my cool pink phone!

So far I've found it to be a very good phone, easy to use and very nice looking, pity it doesn't have Wi-Fi & the scrolling can be hit & miss, but the range of features is very very good, I'd tell anyone to get this phone.

There are so many great features on this phone it's hard to know where to start, the touch screen actually responds to you for a start. This took a little getting used to but is a great gadget! The music player is also awesome - definitely a cut above.
