Samsung’s first ever eight megapixel camera phone, the Samsung i8510 helps you capture precious memories with elegance. With a crystal clear 2.8” 16M colour touchscreen and massive 8Gb memory, it’s a fantastic camera as well as a cutting edge phone.
The Samsung i8510 is also perfect for gamers. Pre-loaded with the hugely popular Asphalt and FIFA 08, it was chosen as the official phone for the World Cyber Games 2008. It also offers the unbeatable mobile web browsing, which is a breeze with the optical mouse and 4-way navigation key – allowing users a PC-like experience. And with both super fast HSDPA internet and WiFi connections, you’ll enjoy seamless internet usage, wherever you are.
As for the camera, the Samsung i8510’s huge range of photo-capturing features include
LED flash, smile shot, blink shot and face recognition, the ability to personalize and edit photos, videos and music with Movie Maker and Story Board applications and a digital photo frame so your favourite photos to best effect. The Samsung i8510’s massive on board and external memory storage also means you’ve ample room to store all the pictures you take.
Video formats supported by the Samsung i8510 include DivX, WMV, Real Player and MPEG4, and with 3D surround sound supported by DNSe 2.0, every video clip and movie feel more like a cinema experience.
Other features include incredible GPS technology for easy navigation, superfast internet with 7.2Mbps HSDPA and FM radio.

The Samsung i8510 is the consummate mobile multimedia device, providing technology enthusiasts with a host of excellent features. Often know by its other title the Innov8, it is cutting-edge enough to more than live up to its name.
With its array of imaging functions, the handset underscores Samsung’s supremacy in the camera phone market, which is highlighted by it having launched the first ever five megapixel phone in 2004 and it unveiling a ten megapixel camera in the Korean market in 2006.
The phone runs on Symbian 9.3 with the Nokia Series 60 user interface, which means that anyone familiar with Nokia’s Nseries handsets will instantly feel at home with Samsung i8510.
A 3.5mm headphone hack is provided, so that owners can listen to their favourite tunes through high-quality stereo headphones.
The inclusion of Google Maps and A-GPS satellite navigation means that you’d do well to get lost with this phone in your hand. Meanwhile, the GPS also offers geo-tagging of photographs you have captured with the camera.
Owners are able to use the Samsung i8510 all over the world, due to its quad-band compatibility. Talktime is five hours for 3G, or 8.5 hours for 2G. When in standby mode, this is 310 hours for 3G and 330 hours for 2G.
