Samsung Omnia HD i8910 details
High definition video recording on your mobile phone has become a reality with Samsung’s i8910 HD. But with its huge touchscreen and great looks, it’s got so much more to offer than just outstanding imaging capabilities.
Equipped with an eight megapixel camera, the Samsung i8910 HD captures superior still images than most dedicated digital cameras. And with face and smile detection and dynamic range adjustment, you’ll find it nigh-on impossible to take a bad picture.
But it’s in its video functions where the genius of this great mobile phone lies, with ability to shoot HD video 720p at 24fps meaning you’ll finally be able to indulge the budding Spielberg within. Better yet, thanks to the huge 3.7-inch screen, your films will look amazing when viewed back.
Elsewhere on this truly next-generation phone, you’ll find a handy e-mail document viewer that supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files, meaning you’ll always be able to take care of important business no matter how far you stray from the office. And when work finally stops, Samsung has provided a terrific media player and FM radio to keep you entertained.
Other features of the Samsung i8910 HD include a secondary camera for video calling, geo-tagging for photos, polyphonic and MP3 ringtones, HSDPA support for fast downloads and a host of messaging options including e-mail, MMS and SMS.
To enable you to get the most of the Samsung I8910 HD, 8GB of internal memory has been provided. This can be boosted by up to 16GB by adding a microSD card.
More on the Samsung Omnia HD i8910
Watching movies on a mobile phone has previously been a fairly unsatisfactory experience. But that’s all changed with the release of the Samsung i8900 HD.
As well as the groundbreaking ability to view films in HD, the Samsung i8900 HD also stands out for its stunning AMOLED display. This means that it can show far more colours than the lo-fi LCD displays on most mobile phones.
But that’s not all. The external speakers are courtesy of Dolby and offer virtual 5.1 surround sound. That means that you’ll be able to enjoy a cinema-style sonic experience wherever you go. And it’s a boon for listening to music on your handset, too.
As well as all the features above, you’ll also benefit from a document viewer that lets you attend to important business no matter how far you stray from your office. And for those moments of downtime, there’s an array of brilliant built-in games.
