Samsung Jet S8000 Lilac details

The Samsung S8000 Jet teams super fast access to features with a striking lilac colour scheme. Plus it boasts got a brilliant five megapixel camera, a lightning fast web browser and a three-inch touchscreen.

At the heart of the Samsung Jet Lilac is its 800MHz processor. This enables users to open up and use applications in a trice. And it also allows more than one application to be used simultaneously – a boon if you’re the kind of busy person who needs of multi-task.

Meanwhile, HSDPA support means that web browsing is just as speedy and lets you complete downloads of music and movies almost as fast as you would at home. You can then enjoy these in style thanks to the impressively large 3.1-inch touchscreen.

Imaging capabilities are just another one of the Jet’s strong suits. The five megapixel camera delivers great still and moving images each and every time. Meanwhile, additional imaging features such as autofocus, smile detection and digital zoom help you get the very best photos you can.

Other features of the Samsung S8000 Jet are a music player, a secondary camera for video calling, FM radio, a 3.5mm audio jack, handsfree speakerphone and an array of messaging options including MMS, SMS and email.

The phone is quad band, so can be used all over the globe, and has 2GB of internal memory. This can be boosted further by up to 16GB by adding a microSD card.

I am now on my second handset and about to take it back to change it for another model. The standby time seems to be only 10 hours max.

Like the phone a lot, it's all about the touchscreen! Also pretty easy to use even for a Nokia fan like myself.
