More on the Samsung Pixon M8800 Silver

Perhaps the standout features of this phone are its beautiful screen and eight megapixel camera, which makes it among the best ever on a mobile phone. Photography enthusiasts also benefit from the advanced shake reduction function and Smile Shot that ensures that your subject is smiling when the photo is taken. Video capture is also great, with recording at 120 frames per second, while a second camera is provided for video calling.

Also onboard is a great music player that supports all major file formats, an FM radio for listening to your favourite DJ and built-in Java games. The onboard memory of 20MB means there is plenty of storage space, with the scope to boost this further by adding a microSD card. And for those moments when you need to attend to business via your e-mail acounts a document viewer is provided.

Other features of the Samsung M8800 Pixon Silver include polyphonic and MP3 ringtones, SMS, MMS, speakerphone, offline mode, GPS and assisted GPS.

The Samsung M8800 Pixon Silver is quad band so can be used all over the world, with talk time of up to seven hours or up to 310 hours when the phone is in standby mode.

It took me a really long time to decide which phone to buy - I'm so glad I chose the Pixon, everything about it is easy to use and smooth. It can be too smooth, the phone book feature is so sensitive that I keep almost calling the wrong people!

I bought the unlocked version online and what can I say? I really really like the Samsung Pixon!! The touch screen is very responsive, 8MP camera is excellent and the features are great.

Best of all it's easy to use, which is the main issue with most touchscreens.

Everything you need in a really decent phone, got it last week & have to say the battery life, if using for Internet, music etc won't last a full day. The touch screen can make texting difficult.

Best camera phone I've ever had, with picture quality this good you actually don't need to carry a camera.
