Samsung Wave Black details
The Samsung Wave looks and feels like a landmark phone. Standout specs include a brilliant 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen, a five megapixel camera and a high definition video recording.
Wave goodbye to sub-par smartphones forever with Samsung’s latest smartphone contender. As well as being jam packed with handy, practical functions, it’s also a phone with a focus on fun.
Nowhere is this more evident than in its advanced social networking functions. Thanks to support for all key sites, including Myspace and Facebook, you’ll be able to get messages, post updates and stay in touch easier than ever.
Better still, the great widget based homescreen allows you to set up social networking apps so they’re only ever a single touchscreen press away.
Also onboard is a fantastic five megapixel camera with face, smile and blink detection as well as an image editor, so you’ll be able to ensure you get a great snap every time. Plus, it’s just as adept at video recording.
Other features of the Samsung Wave include a richly colourful 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen for easy use and a vibrant mobile video experience and push email, whereby messages are sent directly to the handset, making it simple to respond to mails.
The Wave offers microSD card support up to 32GB to allow for plenty of storage space for photos and videos.
More on the Samsung Wave Black
The Wave is the first phone ever to use Samsung's Bada platform. This is the operating system which powers the handset and which keeps applications running smoothly. And there are plenty of apps to chose from.
As of July 2010, Wave users could choose from 300 titles to download from Samsung Apps - the company's online software market. Best of all, 70 per cent of these were free.
The range of apps is growing so fast that there are expected to over 7,000 on sale at the store by the end of 2010.
