MWC 2011: Sonim XP3300 Force offers ‘longest ever talk time’
Rugged phone for chatty people.
The Sonim XP3 Enduro Black is the world’s first-ever fully submersible rugged mobile phone. Not only is it almost indestructible, but with impressively loud call volume as well, it’s perfect for noisy environments, too.
Even the clumsiest handset owner need not worry if they’ve got a Sonim XP3 Enduro Black in their hand. Thanks to its rubbery, waterproofed construction, it can easily withstand being dropped in the bath. And in fact, it’s so hardy that it’ll still work after spending up to half an hour in one metre of water.
Just as impressive, we think, is that the Sonim XP3 Enduro Black is an all-weather phone that will work in temperatures of up to -20C or at +60C without breaking down. And of course, it’s also got a rubber rugged construction that means that you can drop it from up to two metres and barely suffer a scratch.
Other features of the Sonim XP3 Enduro Black include keys that can withstand at least 500,000 button pushes, a built-in flashlight, a browser with EDGE support for fast connectivity and an address book.
Owners of the phone can expect up to six hours of talk time and up to 13 days when the Sonim XP3 Enduro Black is in standby mode.
