Sony Ericsson Satio details
With its incredible quality 12.2 megapixel camera, expansive touchscreen display and great media player, the Sony Ericsson Satio is nothing short of a game-changing mobile phone. And it's brimming with great entertainment options too.
Thanks to its next-generation 12.2 megapixel camera with Xenon flash, autofocus and smile detection technolgy, the Satio is by common consent one of the best cameraphones ever made. And not only does it capture incredible quality still images, but it’s just as good at recording, crystal clear video footage, too and records at a stunning 30 frames per second.
But amazing imaging capabilities aren’t all that the Sony Ericsson Satio has to recommend it. Far from it. And it’s even equipped to show album art and boasts Sony Ericsson’s patented TrackID that helps you identify unfamiliar songs when you’re out and about.
Other features of the Sony Ericsson Satio include a built-in YouTube and Facebook applications, motion-sensitive Java games, FM radio, speakerphone, web browser, personal organiser functions as well as picture and instant messaging.

The Satio, initially introduced to the world under the codename Idou, is the first 12 megapixel camera phone to hit the UK, bringing hitherto unseen capabilities to mobile phones. But it’s a landmark handset in many other ways, too.
Not least of which is the amazing high quality playback of music and video that makes it less a handset and more like a mini cinema in your pocket. This makes viewing movies and video on the 16:9 widescreen, which is capable of displaying 16 million colours, an absolute pleasure.
Meanwhile, thanks to support for the PlayNow service, you’ll be able to download a full range of mobile content in a trice – that means you never need be without the very latest music and movies to keep you occupied wherever you are.
As well as the amazing features detailed above the Satio is also offers A-GPS support, a secondary camera for video calling, HSDPA support for fast downloads, an accelerometer and 8GB of onboard memory. However, this can be expanded by up to 32GB by adding a microSD card.
