Sony Ericsson W850i Black details
Wave goodbye to tinny music and a meagre selection of tracks to choose from on your phone with Sony Ericsson’s superb W850i Black handset.
Cast in sleek black plastic and with flashing lights that react to music being played, the Sony Ericsson W850i Black is a fine looking and multi functional slider handset. Equipped with an FM stereo and Walkman music player, the phone has storage for around 1,000 songs, meaning you never need be limited to choosing from just a few albums.
Typically for a Sony device, the sound quality is excellent, thanks to the use of the company’s MegaBass technology, which improves bass frequencies and gives tracks a fuller and richer sound.
Similarly excellent is the two megapixel camera, which has a digital zoom and flash to give you the best chance of taking arresting images. The camera can also capture video footage for when you feel like unleashing your inner Kubrick.
Other functions include internet connectivity via 3G, so you can send and receive e-mails and surf the web, Bluetooth, polyphonic ringtones and a melody composer for you to write your own, speakerphone, sound recorder, Java games and MMS and text messaging.
