Sony Ericsson W880i Silver details
At just 9.4mm thick, with plenty of space for music and Sony’s patented MegaBass technology, the Sony Ericsson W880i Silver is the thin handset with the fat sound.
The Sony Ericsson W880i Silver weighs just 71 grams, but is a heavyweight among music phones. Under its stainless steel shell lies a fantastic FM radio and music player with sound quality that easily matches that of a dedicated personal stereo.
Adding to phone’s appeal for music lovers is fast access to the PlayNow site for fast downloads of all recent chart hits as well as the option to head to m-buzz.com to get the low down on unsigned acts. 16MB of internal memory and space for additional memory cards allows plenty of room for your expanding music library.
Fully 3G internet-enabled for browsing the web and sending and receiving e-mails , the handset also includes a neat two megapixel camera with digital zoom for capturing still and moving images. These can then be shared with owners of MMS-enabled devices or uploaded to your blog directly from your phone.
Other functions include an internet browser, with support for RSS feeds, a picture blogging function, 3G video calling, USB and Bluetooth connectivity and a useful flight mode that enables you to access the net and music player while disabling the mobile telephony facet of the handset.
