Sony Ericsson W890i Silver details
Dressed up for grand openings, as slim as a CD case and packing serious stereo sound, the Sony Ericsson W890i is one of the coolest ways to listen to music on the move.
Regarded as one of the best of Sony Ericsson’s range of Walkman handsets, the Sony Ericsson W890i Silver adds a new level of style and sophistication to music phones.
Under its super slim exterior is a great music player and FM radio, which employ the Hi-Fi giant’s patented MegaBass technology to deliver a sound that is as full as it is rich. Even better, is that with the 2GB memory stick there is enough room for a whopping 500 songs, while the Play Now download service means that you can buy all the latest tunes and ringtones directly from your handset.
Owners are well served by the great 3.2 megapixel camera, which records both still and moving images. And for those who want to hone and polish their efforts there is a VideoDJ software supplied for editing.
Internet browsing and downloads are fast and easy with the handset due to its HSDPA connectivity, which is up to 12 times faster than 3G.
Other features included on the phone are e-mails, web browser which supports RSS web feeds, a flight mode whereby the telephony facet of the handset is disabled while allowing you to access the music player and web browser.
More on the Sony Ericsson W890i Silver
The Sony Ericsson W890i is the successor to the company’s hugely successful W880i Walkman phone. Measuring just 10mm thick, it is one of the slimmest mobile phones on the market, but nonetheless packs it a hugely impressive range of features.
Running on the v3.0 edition of Sony’s Walkman phone software, the Sony Ericsson W890i differs from previous models in the range by adding the excellent SensMe function. This lets listeners determine which songs they hear according to their mood.
In independent reviews of the Sony Ericsson W890i praised the phone’s sound quality for playing music, slim dimensions and fast download speeds.
