Virgin has launched a credit crunch-friendly mobile phone tariff, which it claims is its best ever £20 per month deal.
The package offers unlimited texts, 400 minutes of call time, unlimited Instant Messenger for the first six months of the deal.
Customers also have the option of paying 30p per day for unlimited mobile internet access and the chance to trade in their old mobile for up to £100 of credit.
The pay monthly tariff is available now with a range of handsets, including the Nokia E63, Samsung Classico, Nokia 6220 and Sony Ericsson W595.
Virgin Media director of mobile, Jonathan Kini, said: “This £20 contract is a fantastic addition to our portfolio of offers and the inclusion of the brand new Samsung Classico makes it even more of a stand out deal.”
The best-ever £20 tariff is second new offer from Virgin in recent weeks, following the unveiling of the Virgin Addict pay as you go deal.
This allows customers unlimited texts and unrestricted mobile internet access on the condition that they top up their phones by at least £20 per month.
