An exclusive matt black edition of the HTC Touch 3G has landed on Orange.

The touchscreen phone, which is aimed principally at the burgeoning business market, harnesses UMA technology to allow users to make phone calls using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Other stand-out features of the handset include HSDPA support for fast downloads, the option to synchronise all Outlook e-mail, a 3.2 megapixel camera and 30GB of storage space.

François Mahieu, director of devices at Orange, said: “Mobile e-mail is no longer enough for busy professionals. Instead, they’re looking for a device that offers a range of business functions and multimedia services.

“The HTC Touch 3G offers all this and more, helping businesses to get more out of whatever they’re doing, wherever they are.”

Buyers can get the handset for as little as £19.57 per month when they opt for Orange’s Dolphin 30 plan over 18 months.

This entitles them to 400 any-time minutes per month, as well as unlimited text messages and free evening and weekend mobile internet browsing for the initial two months of the contract.
