Virgin Mobile has today launched its brand new Virgin Addict pay as you go tariff, offering customers unlimited texts and unrestricted mobile internet access.

In order to qualify for the deal, consumers must top up their phones by at least £20 per month.

A fair usage policy is in place of 1GB per month for the mobile internet facet of the offer. However, this is a generous limit and ought not to be breached by regular use.

Additionally, the tariff offers the option of extending your usage allowance irrespective of how much you have topped up by paying 30p for each day you log on, when a daily limit of 25Mb applies.

The mobile phone carrier has also launched scaled down versions of the tariff whereby topping up by at least £15 per month will entitle you to 600 free texts and £10pm 300 free texts. Neither of these deals include mobile internet, however.

To promote the tariff, Virgin has launched a campaign featuring girl band The Saturdays who feature in a photograph that references Robert Palmer’s iconic music video for Addicted to Love.
