The long-awaited BlackBerry Curve 8520 has finally landed on Top 10 Mobile Phones, ending months of anticipation for the latest email focussed handset from Research in Motion (RIM).
The high-end handset is available for free on a selection of contract deals on Orange and O2, offering different combinations of texts and monthly minutes.
Features of the 8520 Curve include push e-mail, which directs mail direct to the handset to make receiving and responding to messages much quicker, and a host of communication options, including SMS, MMS and instant messaging.
RIM has also installed a high quality media player that is equipped with dedicated control keys – a first for a BlackBerry mobile phone – as well as a two megapixel camera and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
To allow users to make the most of all the functions, the BlackBerry Curve 8520 supports up to 16GB of memory when a microSD memory stick is fitted.
