A mini website for LG’s forthcoming Android mobile phone is up, allowing potential buyers to view videos of the handset in action.

The site features clips of the GW620 mobile phone that highlight its social networking capabilities and features a detailed specs list.

Key features of the phone, which is LG’s debut on the Android platform and will run the 2.0 version of the operating system, include a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a five megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, three-inch touchscreen and a custom built user interface.

Pricing details, a concrete launch date and UK network carriers for the GW620 have yet to be confirmed. However, the handset is expected to appear in time for the Christmas market.

Android mobiles, such as the budget priced HTC Tattoo and the T-Mobile G2 Touch, have been among the biggest selling handsets of the last 12 months with consumers attracted by the array of applications available and array of functions on offer.

O.M.G, the LG GW620 is a state of the art mobile phone powered by Google Anroid mobile OS, which is designed predominantly for the younger global audience. In my opinion this is LG GW620’s biggest selling point being able to ‘message and browse on the move’.

With the LG GW620 you will be able to use both Spotify and Google services such as Google map 2.0 and Spotify download services. Well that’s real competition for Google.
