Nokia’s latest, highly anticipated music-focussed phone the X6 has gone on sale now on Top 10 Mobile Phones.

Available for free on the Orange network from just £40 per month over a 24-month contract, the handset is home to a high-grade media player and 32GB of onboard memory for storing music and movies.

Other key features include an email attachment viewer, handwriting recognition for fast and easy text entry, HSDPA support and built-in and downloadable games.

The X6 also offers a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, a five megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and a dual LED flash, plus photo-editing software.

News of the latest addition to Nokia’s range of flagship mobiles comes after it was last week forced to delay the release of its other key release for 2009, the N900 smartphone.

According to the Finnish company, the decision to postpone the launch of the handset was taken due to overwhelming consumer demand, which it felt it would be unable to fulfil.

The N900 will now officially go on sale in the UK on December 4th.
