If the versatility and power of the Nokia N900's Maemo software platform needed any further confirmation, it will surely find it in a trio of dancing robots which are controlled by the smartphone.
Two of the complex mechanical marvels are designed to emulate a typical pole dance, while the third stands watch in the middle behind a set of decks, presumably in charge of the tunes.

The robots are on show at a venue in London as part of a showcase of similarly bizarre creations.
Nokia smartphones have always attracted a fairly dedicated following amongst the hardcore modders, but it is safe to say that the N900 has been used to achieve something rather unique in this instance.
