Vodafone is offering the high-end smartphone, which has been the talk of the tech world since being unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in February, for free on a range of contract deals with varying combinations of call minutes and texts.

The Legend’s legion of admirers have reserved particular praise for its striking looks, which team a unibody design with a sculpted alloy finish and a richly colourful 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display.

Other standout specifications include a five megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, the latest 2.1 edition of Google’s Android operating system, 32GB of expandable memory via microSD card support and an email document viewer for working on the go.

Buyers also benefit from a host of Google applications pre-installed, including YouTube, Gmail and Facebook, and a choice of 30,000 other free and paid-for titles from the Android Market online software store.

HTC’s other flagship phone for 2010, the Desire is also available to order now from Top10.
