PALM PRE LARGE

O2 might soon be getting the Palm Pre Plus as well as the smaller, cheaper webOS option in the Pixi Plus if the latest online industry murmurings are to be believed.

A tipster delivered an anonymous message to mobile blog Tracy and Matt, saying that the "expected launch date is April 2010 shortly after the App Catalogue comes out of Beta for European users allowing access for paid applications".

The Plus editions of the Pre and Pixi were made available to US customers in January, although 50 per cent of the new phones have yet to actually sell stateside.

As Palm struggles in the stock markets and announces significant losses, the launch of the Pre and Pixi Plus in the UK could be the boost that it needs to remain in business.

Erm, why bother? People weren't having the Pre, so why should they go for a slightly updated version?

Anyone else out there having problems with their Palm Pre?

There was a new software download last weekend & I haven't had internet access since. Palm are not being helpful in fixing this.
